gentle rain
beading
the slate walk
hidden within
dark spaces
reflects
your sorrow
hauntingly.

endless rolling over and over
fresh grasses smelling green
tiny discoveries bloom falling
clover patches buffel grass
lining stones along singing
creek tadpoles fluttering trout
rock stair steps leading upward
scraping the cloudless sky
where your heart expanded
infinity returned a yearning cry.

Drawing by: Sagaki Keita

without
the pencil
gliding across
blank emptiness
drawing inward
instinctively
building stories
something would
be left wanting
since out of
the white
welcomes
circling doodles
words strung
together
sheet music
of prose
flowing groundward
turn wild mind
ramblings
into glimpses
of soul.

wearing grooves
in the porch
the old dog
lay beside
woman rocking
burdens away.
