not too long upon
a once only time
somewhere very
near to home
an old fairy tale
was torn away
where castles
were only sand
no prince heroic
to your side
nor princess
waiting on a kiss
more occupied by
immediate demands
did each turn from
the other bemused
for both had their own
privy raging dragons
to slay whom laid
upon their mind.
