The Strangeness of Nothing

Such a strange creature
a ghostly, smiling shell
an emptiness on the move
shuffling about, relocating
or shifting in that chair
almost transparent at times
sleepwalking through life
while your passing rustles
those along the path
creates the rolling waves
little fishes bob and hide
coral protected concealed eddies
cold shivers flood blue light
passing ego casts a shadow
the way sharks circle prey
the impermeable mask
made your Monday face
such a strange creature.
